Introduction to the E Class.

This morning I attended my first parent eclass session. Pictured above is the software program the kids will be using for their weekly eclass with Dr. W. and their classmates. It was pretty neat. Amazing what we can do with an Internet connection these days, huh? To the right is the teachers white board, this morning it displayed a slide show for the grading process, but during their classes she will write on it just as she would in the classroom. The audio section on the bottom left is where you click to speak to Dr. W and the entire class. If for some reason your audio isn't working, above that is the chat box where you can type your text. Above that it shows all the participants signed in. There are buttons for you to raise your hand, clap, smile, etc. It was great to hear the questions and concerns of other parents this morning and I think the children will enjoy this weekly interaction with their fellow virtual school classmates as well.
